📢 About NTA UGC NET June 2026
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the notification for NTA UGC NET June 2026 examination. This prestigious national-level test is conducted for determining eligibility for:
- 🎓 Junior Research Fellowship (JRF)
- 👨🏫 Assistant Professor
- 📘 Ph.D. Admission
The exam will be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode across multiple centers in India, including Assam.

🎯 Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit
- JRF: Maximum 30 years (as on 01 June 2026)
- Relaxation: Up to 5 years for OBC/SC/ST/PwD/Women
- Assistant Professor: No age limit
- Ph.D. Admission: No age limit
Educational Qualification
- ✔ 55% marks in Master’s degree (General/EWS)
- ✔ 50% marks for OBC/SC/ST/PwD
- ✔ Final year students can apply
- ✔ 4-year Bachelor’s degree holders (75%) eligible
Note: 4-year degree candidates are eligible for JRF & Ph.D. but not Assistant Professor.
